The Certificate in Community Volunteering (Level 2) is accredited by ASDAN (Award Scheme Development and Accreditation Network).It is equivalent to an NVQ level 2 or 2 Grade B GCSEs. We are an accredited Centre and have run successful courses with a diverse group of trainees.
Who is the CCV for?
The Certificate in Community Volunteering is intended for volunteers who want to develop skills and confidence in accessing further training, have their volunteering recognized by an accredited award and are concurrently engaged in an unrelated course of study/training or wish to develop their role within the organisation
Aims of the qualification is to assess and recognise the candidate’s ability to participate effectively as a volunteer in the community and voluntary sectors, familiarise volunteers with competence based awards and facilitate progression onto further training and accreditation and recognize social skills and self-development of volunteers.
