How to Introduce an Outcomes Approach: Monitoring and Evaluating the Changes that Happen as a Result of Your Work

Format: Training session (one session)

Category: Other topics

Cost: £500 for a day session

Areas covered: All London boroughs

Course Length: One day
Course Outline: Often it is hard showing that what we are trying to do is happening and if we are meeting our aims e.g. if you are trying to decrease social isolation, increase how somebody interacts and accesses services in the local area, increase confidence, reduce crime or drinking etc. Introducing an outcomes approach can help show how aims are being met. This course will introduce the idea of what outcomes are and how they can be of benefit to voluntary and community groups that are trying to bring about change.

Participants will learn:
·How to keep focused on your aims, clients or target group
·Identifying what works well
·How to bring about clarity in what you're trying to do
·Increasing the awareness and understanding of change and how it happens
·Adding structure and focus to service delivery
·Increasing the ability to respond to the needs of funders
