Job Title: Freelance Trainer and Community Consultant
I am an experienced trainer and tutor, have volunteered regularly for the last 13 years and have worked for a volunteer centre.
I deliver half or full day courses in all aspects of volunteering including a general introduction to involving volunteers, and a more advanced course in managing your volunteer programme. I also teach courses in personal skills including cultural awareness and assertiveness.
I work part time for a food growing and distribution co-operative in East London. We involve volunteers as part of the small community enterprise. This thriving and very necessary local initiative continues to inform my best practice knowledge and the way that I work independently with community groups.
