This is your life...
You were conceived through a partnership of GLV and the London Volunteer Centres.
You were then adopted by many individual volunteer centres as their own.
You've made many friends in your short life and reached out to over 300 organisations.
Your siblings, Foundation Health Check and Full Health Check are based upon your ten areas of good practice and are further supporting volunteer involving organisations in development and direction.
You've a website www.expertsinvolunteering.org.uk dedicated to your existence and full of resources.
You like to discuss good practice with other charities and after only 6 months you developed Charter Chatter, which is now a vehicle to stay in touch with all the people who have put their trust in you.
Although born and bred in London, you have provoked interest in various parts of the UK and as far a field as Australia.
We wish you a prosperous future and hope volunteers experiences continue to improve and that you bring Londoners closer to GLV's vision "that every Londoner understands the role that volunteering can play in helping Londoners become part of the solution to their communities needs."
As well as your -"This is your life" book we've created an anniversary video, with the main message from Alex of Volunteer Centre Southwark who wasn't able to make it in person, and wanted to highlight the benefit the London Volunteer Management Charter has brought both to the Volunteer Centre and the organisations they work with.
