Code of Conduct


This code has been drawn up to standards of personal and professional conduct, which will establish and sustain the highest reputation of Greater London Volunteering (GLV) and the Experts in Volunteering website (www.expertsinvolunteering.org.uk). It applies to all registered users of Experts in Volunteering website

As a registered member of Experts in Volunteering:

  1. I will seek to ensure the organisation I am employed by offer good quality training and register experts that meet the standards of good practice in volunteer management training
  2. I will submit information that is complete and accurate to the best of my knowledge
  3. I will make any changes to information that I have submitted as soon as possible, so that interested parties are not misled about available expertise
  4. I will inform the website administrator within 24 hours of a course being cancelled, to ensure information on the website is as up to date as possible
  5. I will act within the law and within any statutory or regulatory codes relevant to our work practices, including actively demonstrating a commitment to Equal Opportunities
  6. I will be sensitive to difference, being aware of different cultures, lifestyles, backgrounds and languages, when communicating with others
  7. I will enable access to our organisation’s Complaints Procedure to ensure any negative feedback is actioned and resolved


I agree to abide by the code of conduct as detailed above. I understand that failure to abide by this agreement could lead to my membership being revoked.
