Experts in Volunteering training
The Experts in Volunteering project has funding available until June 2012 to boost the training that London’s Volunteer Centres offer to volunteer managers.
Sessions subsidised by us will be delivered by Volunteer Centres free of charge to volunteer involving organisations, although they may ask you for a refundable deposit to secure your booking.
Training funded by Experts in Volunteering
Volunteer Centres will be delivering the following training from Autumn 2011 - Spring 2012; the training is open to Greater London volunteer managers, regardless of the borough in which they work. The following Boroughs will be delivering training, dates and topics to be confirmed:
Waltham Forest, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Richmond, Merton, Bromley, Croydon, Hounslow, Hammersmith and Fulham (and Brent Active Citizens)
Volunteer Centre Redbridge: Demonstrating the value of your Volunteer Programme, 15th November, 10am - 4pm
Training tailored to your needs
In-house training and our other bespoke services (action learning, health check advice & consultancy) are available to groups based within or outside London, but a fee is payable. Please contact experts@glv.org.uk or call 020 7953 7317 to discuss your needs. Our experience and knowledge is rooted in working with volunteer involving groups of all sectors, sizes and complexity, and we have access through our membership to a huge amount of expertise on all aspects of volunteering.

We can promote you on our website at no charge. Just register as an expert and you will be added to the list of the London's experts in volunteering. We will need freelancers to provide a reference to demonstrate your track record in volunteering matters.
